Welcome to a life of a mother who knits

Okay, let's get this blog on the go.  First off, my name is Jessica, I live in Maryland and I am a mother, a soon to be wife, recent college graduate of forensic science, an avid reader, and as my son would tell you, I play with yarn.

I have been reading knitting blogs for a few months now and I can't seem to help myself, I want one too!!  With this blog, I hope to express myself better through words and to make connections with other mothers, knitters, crafters, and anyone else who is willing and courageous enough to reach out and put themselves out there to the world.

I hope to share my passion of knitting and my love of the written word (what I'm currently reading).  To have adult conversations again that do not involve the latest action figures, dino shaped chicken nuggets, or Ben 10.  Not that I don't love those wonderful things... but I think mom's brain is getting a little mushy.
